Der Fulcrum Racing Zero Competizione ist ein vielversprechender Neuzugang in der Zero Serie. Der neue verfügt über alle technologien der anderen Zero Räder, aber schafft es sich mit dem gewissen Extra von den restlichen Aluminiumfelgen abzusetzen. So werden unter anderem die keramischen Cult Lager verwendet, anstelle der herkömmlichen USB Lager, für einen noch besseren Freilauf und eine noch größere Haltbarkeit der Naben. Das 2-Way Fit System ermöglicht die Tubeless Nutzung, mit der platte Reifen der Vergangenheit angehören. Die Momag Technik sorgt dafür, dass die Speichenlöcher lediglich von einer Seite gebohrt werden, wodurch die Steifigkeit der Felge enorm steigt. Des Weiteren kommen bei diesem Laufradsatz C17 Felgen zum Einsatz, wodurch 25 und 28mm Reifen besser auf den Felgen liegen.

Installing a cassette on a wheel is easy if you have the right tools. If you purchase a cassette remover with a Shimano fit, you will be able to mount either a Shimano or Sram cassette on your rear wheel. Please note! For a Campagnolo cassette you need the Campagnolo tool. If you have a Shimano 9/10-speed cassette, first slide the spacer over the body. Then you place the cassette on the body. This can only be done in one way because of the fit of the body. Finally you turn the washer straight on by hand and tighten it with the cassette tool. Cassettes aren’t easily overtightened, but if you want you can use a torque wrench for this.

• Pay attention to the direction of travel when mounting your tyres.
• For Shimano 9/10-speed, do not forget to mount the spacer first before installing the cassette.
• Make sure the rim tape is stuck well in the rim.
• On both the front and rear wheel, there is a small adjustment screw on the left-hand side to adjust the side play.
